About Us Rock High Contracting and Castleworks Designs is owned by Ralph Gerry. He has been building for seventeen years. Ralph started Rock High Contracting back in 2002. If we go back into Ralph's history his teachings on stone construction began at age twelve with his grandfather showing him the traditional methods of working with stone. In the 1990's Ralph was mainly focused on restoration stone work on churches and heritage farm houses. Along the way several mentors taught Ralph how to combine his love of construction with the necessary knowledge to manage a business. While Ralph completed his apprenticeship in 1984 and has been a licensed tradesman since 1987 he more recently acquired his Storefront Mechanics license for glass & aluminum work. He also has been trained and certified for ICF Concrete Form construction and it is this relatively new building technology that Ralph is utilizing towards his vision of stone home & castle designs that can include such specialties as all copper roofs and the incorporation of timber accents with the rock for a really authentic looking design that ties together with the landscaping of the property. Ralph is not side tracked by your typical construction projects and has a mantra for well built quality construction and landscaping with an artistic approach. His unique designs and craftsmanship provide lasting value and create end products that are properly constructed - to the highest standards that go back to the days of rock castles that have always withstood the test of time.
